Restaurants and Cafes for the fun-loving vegan
Here are some of our favourite restaurants and cafes. But let's be frank: there aren't many that we list here because, well, there aren't many that we feel meet our exacting criteria! And, let's face it, there aren't many anyway. If it was easy to find a restaurant or cafe that had a full menu of animal-product-free dishes then you wouldn't be here. Mainly, we want places to be fun. We're fed up of seeing every dish that looks like a ratatouille mush or a nameless vegetable bake. We demand fun! And we don't want to see a wilted pot plant anywhere. Did we mention that? It's our "Pot plant test". We are fed up of going to restaurants that have wilted pot plants dotted around the place, particularly in the loo. Why, oh why, does a loo need a pot plant. Similarly, we are not overly enthused with macrame hanging baskets. You have been warned.
